Mango-Pineapple & Assorted Berry Smoothie | The Savour-.jpg

Mango-Pineapple & Assorted Berry Smoothie: This smoothie was the first one I tested and once I tried it I knew that the smoothie was a must-have on this list. It's not overly sweet but still delivers on flavor to the very last sip. The reason I fell in love with this smoothie is that when you try it, you're immediately transported to a beach in Bora Bora living the good life. Who wouldn't want that? (Recipe below)

Vegan Kale + Pineapple Smoothie | The Savour

Kale + Pineapple Smoothie: This energy-packed smoothie is so good that you'll wonder if there's actually kale in this drink. Trust me, there is. And the best part? You get all of the nutrients the kale and pineapple have to offer without the bitter taste that you almost always experience with kale. So this smoothie is extremely healthy, extraordinarily good, and you don't have to compromise on flavor. (Recipe below)

Pineapple-Coconut + Mixed Fruit Smoothie | The Savour

Pineapple-Coconut + Mixed Fruit Smoothie: This vibrant colored smoothie is perfect for any morning that just needs a little brightness to pick you up. The refreshing taste of this pineapple-coconut + mixed fruit smoothie takes this drink up and over your expectations of the flavor coconut water can provide. (Recipe below)

Kale + Mango Smoothie | The Savour

Kale + Mango Smoothie: This kale + mango smoothie is just like the kale + pineapple, with just a little more kick of mango. And by a kick, I mean double the amount. When I first tried this smoothie I was surprised to taste how much the mango cut the bitterness of the kale while at the same time bringing out the other wonderful flavors of the kale. If you need a drink to introduce yourself to kale, this is the one for you. (Recipe below).

These 5 Vegan Breakfast Smoothies are so good you'll be wondering why you have started to have these sooner. I'm so ready to show you all these amazing smoothies that will definitely be a healthier (and better tasting) alternative to rushing out the door and stopping at a fast food restaurant and calling that your breakfast. So, here's to no more waiting in line at drive-thrus and a start to hopefully a more nutritious and flavorsome breakfast. Cheers!

Mango-Pineapple & Assorted Berry Smoothie:

  • 1 Cup Frozen Mango
  • 1 Cup Frozen Mixed Fruit (see notes)
  • 1/3 Cup Pineapple Juice (see notes)
  • 1/2 Cup Pineapple Chunks
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup Pomegranate Juice (optional)
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth and pourable on medium-high. Add more water if necessary.
  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes:

  1. The frozen mixed fruit that was used for this recipe was bought from Wegmans and contained frozen strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Also, the brand I used was generic, so I am not sure what brand to suggest. But you can always tweak my recipes to your liking to make them more convenient and/or curated to your personal tastes.
  2. I use canned pineapple chunks for this recipe so the juice that is stated in this recipe is juice from the can and it turned out perfectly. But if you cannot find canned pineapple you can always forego the juice and just use more water or pomegranate juice, if you choose to use it.

Kale-Pineapple Smoothie:

  • 1 Cup Kale Greens
  • 1/4 Cup Pineapple Chunks (see notes)
  • 1/4 Cup Pineapple Juice (see notes)
  • 1/4 Cup Frozen Mango
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup Ice Cubes
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a blender combine kale, pineapple, pineapple juice, and frozen mango and blend on medium-high. Add water if necessary
  2. Once blended add water, ice cubes, and maple syrup.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes:

  1. The pineapple used for this recipe was canned, so I recommend also using canned pineapple that way you can use the juice the pineapple was stored in for this recipe.

Pineapple Coconut + Mixed Fruit Smoothie:

  • 3/4 Cup Pineapple Chunks
  • 1/2 Cup Pineapple Juice (see notes)
  • 1/3 Cup Coconut Water
  • 1/2 Cup Mixed Fruit (see notes)
  • 1 Tablespoon Pomegranate Juice
  • 1/3 Cup Ice

Instructions:

  1. In a blender combine pineapple, pineapple juice, coconut water, mixed fruit, pomegranate juice and ice. Blend until smooth and pourable. Add more coconut water/regular water if needed during the blending process.
  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes:

  1. The pineapple used for this recipe was canned, so I recommend also using canned pineapple that way you can use the juice the pineapple was stored in for this recipe.
  2. The frozen mixed fruit used consisted of frozen strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries and was bought at Wegmans. But don't worry, as always, these recipes can be tweaked to your liking.

Notes:

  1. For this recipe, the amount of coconut water you desire to add is completely up to you because the taste of this smoothie so easily changed by the measurement of the water. So I encourage you all to tweak the measurement to your liking.
